The Supreme Court heard oral arguments over former President Donald Trump's claim to presidential immunity. The justices grappled with what counts as an "official act" and what counts as a "personal act." President Trump was in a New York courtroom for day seven of his hush money trial. His lawyers cross-examined the prosecution’s first witness—former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker. A grand jury in Arizona indicted 18 people, including Trump advisers, for their efforts challenging the 2020 presidential election. They include former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and the 11 alternate Republican electors. The New York Appeals Court overturned Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction. The court said witnesses shouldn't have talked about unproven allegations and ordered a new trial. Mr. Weinstein remains imprisoned for a separate rape conviction. Police arrested hundreds of people at anti-Israel campus protests across the nation.
