U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced Thursday Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers arrested 216 unauthorized noncitizens for drug related crimes. Acting ICE Director Patrick Lechleitner said the agency apprehended those who have been convicted of drug-related offenses involving methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, or synthetic drugs, during a nation-wide law enforcement effort that ran from March 11 - 26, 2024.
